The primary muscle recruited in the shoulder press is the anterior deltoid, which is the front section of your shoulder muscle. There are different variation to this workout, for instance, you can perform the shoulder press with either dumbbells or a barbell. You can also perform it sitting or standing.

The Overhead Press is a full body compound exercise that increases strength and density throughout the core complex and upper back region, while increasing overall stability.
