This exercise brings in the short head of the biceps (inner head) and allows a maximum stretch in the muscle as the arms are extended and stretches slightly behind the body.

This version of the Bicep Curl is done on an incline bench. It uses dumbbells, a different angle, and a twisting motion to isolate and thickens the inner biceps. This also targets the forearm and also hit the anterior deltoids as a secondary stabilizer muscle group.
