This is a great exercise to substitute for Pull Ups, and Narrow Parallel Grip Chin Ups if you are unable to do a full set. This will help you develop the muscle needed so you can ultimately do these great body weight exercises.

The primary targeted muscle group for this exercise is the “lat” muscle, which is the widest and most powerful muscle of the back. Strengthening your lat muscles provides the ultimate layer of support for core movements.
